Ο Roger Bond, αεροπόρος και αρχηγός μπάντας, γνωρίζει στο Μαϊάμι τη Βραζιλιάνα καλλονή Belinha De Rezende. Για χάρη της ταξιδεύει ως το Ρίο ντε Τζανέιρο όπου θα εμφανιστεί στα εγκαίνια του ξενοδοχείου «Atlântico». Αγνοεί ότι το ξενοδοχείο ανήκει στον πατέρα της Belinha, όπως επίσης αγνοεί ότι η κοπέλα είναι αρραβωνιασμένη με τον καλό του φίλο Julio Ribeiro.
