Aaishri tends to Laxmibai who is wincing in pain. All Aaishri tells Laxmibai is that she is ready to beget a child for Gangadhar, and asks her to stay in a separate room for 5 days. Jankibai and Sakhubai hear the news and are jealous that Jhansi would soon get an heir. Spears inform Gangadhar that a disheartened Sleeman has gone to Lucknow, and things could turn for the worse if Kranti Guru is not handed over to the British.
